Libenu’s Lev Respite Program
Assisting Jewish Orthodox families with disability care
Parents of children with developmental or learning disabilities can be overwhelmed by the challenge of balancing care and other life needs. Families in the Jewish Orthodox community are particularly challenged because family support services are limited. This puts a particular strain on parents and family members who are primary caregivers, resulting in stress, physical fatigue, and guilt from the burden of care.
Libenu’s Lev Respite Program brings assistance to families through respite services for Torah-observant young people who are living with disabilities. Participants enjoy social, recreational, and educational opportunities centered around Jewish holidays and traditions.
